As the gold sponsor of the 10th edition of the MEET ICT and Bahrain International Technology Exhibition (BITEX) 2022, Huawei, a leading global provider of information and communications technology (ICT) infrastructure and smart devices, will be exploring the role of digital innovation with its partners, under the theme of “leading the way to a digital economy through Artificial Intelligence.”
Held under the Patronage of the Minister of Transportation and Telecommunication, H.E. Engr. Kamal bin Ahmed Mohammed, this initiative is part of Huawei’s commitment to strengthening the Kingdom of Bahrain’s ICT sector, as outlined in Bahrain’s Telecommunications, ICT, and Digital Economy Sector Strategy 2022-2026, which emerged from the esteemed government’s economic recovery plan announced at the end of last year.
During the Huawei will showcase its latest cutting-edge products and solutions and the business opportunities available through the integration of technologies, infrastructure investments, connectivity, and spectrum availability to benefit vertical industries and economic sectors, in alignment with Bahrain’s government visions.
Approaching a decade of success this year, MEET ICT and BITEX have already proven themselves as the most extensive and leading ICT event in the Kingdom of Bahrain. In line with Bahrain’s vision and technological progress in the region, this event provides a conducive platform for bringing together private and public sector decision-makers, key players, and IT experts among many to achieve the common goals of highlighting innovative trends, services, and products of ICT companies and enhancing the capacity of ICT enterprises.

Hosted by Bahrain Technology Companies Society (BTECH) in partnership with WorkSmart for Events Management, MEET ICT and BITEX 2022 will be open to visitors from 14 – 16 June 2022 at Gulf Convention Center, Gulf Hotel between 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
